Mate, I'm following the scene for a good amount of time. I played a lot of cpm and i still play it. Mainly NTF and CTF for fun.
Sadly, i'm too bad to play tdm without ruining it for my team, so i just stopped doing it after my first or second pickup.
Until now i've watched a few pickup tdm games, tho. So i'm 100% sure that you can drop weapons, but not a 100% sure if you can drop ammo, 'cause i never payed that much attention to it. (poles in #cpmpickup wouldn't drop it anyway, so there'd be no chance for me to see it.)
Now, ... the guy said "Man, weapondrop is the only thing i ever missed in q3tdm."
What would your answer be, if you knew a Mod/Gameplay/Whatever where, you know, weapondrop is possible?
Also my answer was "no (afaik ...)".

I also followed quite a few vq3 tournaments. Enough to say that the maps are getting fucking boring. I also played all of the maps, i'd say excessivley. But i guess that doesn't make me credible enough to judge the cups map choice, eh?

you can of course drop ammo, and not only weapons in cpm tdm.
