Where @ ? I didn't see rapha flame anyone. And the "5 steps ahead" comment is being blown WAY OUT OF PROPORTION. Wasn't meant to be taken literally. Rapha is a good guy...And believe me, I'm the first to bash someone who is lame.

It's a joke, Rapha himself acknowledged that it was an exaggeration...

the mainproblem is just, that chance cant stay a chance against the aim of these "new" players. he has to do all with just tactic and perfect mapcontrol. thats much harder then any other way to play, cause you have to be ultra-carefully all the time. that fucks up the nerves ;o

on the other hand, there's a lot of pressure on rapha now which might affect his aim... his complete game vs. dkt was far from perfect.

gg and wp both but still cannot believe in the upper ya shaft battle on nodm9 at score 4-4 went in rapha's favour, that was like a definite frag for chance, gg cpma vq3 and its weird netcode making counter intuitive things possible, I have to watch the demo to make sure my eyes were not wrong tho.

nodm9 is a good map overall, but prone to boring matches, dm6 should be unavoidable imho, i know we have seen it thousands times, but its like the purest form of benchmarck between two players, and the easiest one to understand for noob specs.

well russians seem to have pretty exciting matches on nodm9, but dm6 matches can be boring as well if a good player retains control for most part of the game. I f you are looking for constant action hub and t4 is the way to go :)

In my opinion hub and t4 are much better dueling benchmarks.

dm6 is extremely basic and there isn't a lot of variation in how you can play it.

lock down ra/mh, keep rail away, maintain positional advantage aka dont give up bridge/rl area before ra/mh spawn if you can help it. spawn rape after kills. bait with ra/mh if you want to be tricky.

when you aren't in control, get rail and snipe ra/mh while collecting ya/shards. make an attack when you think you're on even ground with h/a, or when they accidently sync ra/mh times and you can steal one and make a surprise attack.

there is room for some more creativity for sure, but with a basic strat like this and some luck with aim/spawns, you'll see lesser duelers beat much better ones on this map quite often.
