So December has come and the countdown to Christmas has begun. To get in the festive spirit I have an awesome drama I recommend watching; Last Christmas.


The first episode is shit but after that it's awesome...I recommended it to my friend & it became his favourite show too....it is so feelgood that it would even make daryl feel momentarily happy. Sound track is epic throughout getting you in the festive spirit. Best of all it can be downloaded on IRC at your maximum download speed if it's quiet (I get 2.4mb/s regularly).

If none of this has convinced you then you should know that this is an AGP sanctioned drama, enjoy.

1. Go here

Over at ClanBase ClanBase a few UT2004 1v1 players have been interviewed in regards to the current UT2004 DM OpenCup Fall 2009 cup. Here's a snippet:
United Kingdom Dird: You don't think Aerowalk is a ridiculously terrible map in UT2004 compared to the Quake versions?
Croatia Joky: In my opinion, i don't think so. Cause we all know that UT2004 is fast game, on some maps VERY FAST, looking on scores between 2 player on few maps could be more faster. Aerowalk is map where you can show some of your skills if you ask me, cause there you don't have so much time to think, you can be killed from anywhere because of those portals which are making map so fast and because map is small! But in quake? That map is other story...

Marty "marty" Stratton of id Software has announced that a large update to QuakeLive will take place on Tuesday 14th. It will be down for 3-4 hours from early evening European time (late morning US time). Once down for maintenance, progress updates can be found on their Twitter page.

Following this update, any further modifications will be scheduled to be carried out on Tuesdays to create a sense of routine (excluding emergency updates).

On Thursday I'll begin my epic 16 hour (wtf???) flight to China! Two weeks holiday baby \o/ Worried I'll die on the way over as the longest I've traveled is 5 hours which was pretty painful.

I'm hoping I can watch a football match while there then finish things off by freeing Tibet.

Anyone else been there? Enjoyed? =o

Shits cheap with the hotel (14 nights) & transport (I'll catch 2 internal flights & take a 5 hour train) costing just £320. I'll take £700 total and then get more from the bank if needed. Cities visiting:

Guilin - main reason being the Lijiang River
Qingdao - kicking ass with them in FM2009 (Y)

So I had some dodgy talk about primary/alternative paths & they gave some dodgy primary path...surely the best path is:

1. water in kettle + boil
2. get cup
3. put teabag + sugar +spoon in cup
4. pour water
5. stir + squeeze teabag with spoon (WTF at this "wait 2 minutes" crap)
6. insert milk
7. If too white then squeeze some more
8. Remove teabag + spoon then go drink

Try it. Will make your tea taste way better fo sho

Multi-gaming clan Serious Gaming have announced that one of their players and the defending ESWC champion Poland Av3k will not be attending the Grand Finals in United States of America San Jose due to visa problems.

Here is an exert from their news post:
Today became clear defending world champion Poland Maciej 'Av3k' Krzykowski will not be able to attend ESWC 2008. After several attempts to get a visa to the United States and be able to participate in ESWC 2008, his final desperate try failed today.

Netherlands basZ, Manager at Serious Gaming had this to say:
Its difficult for me to judge the situation from here. Av3k had to renew his visa, and thought it would not cause any problems. Unfortunately things went different then hoped and expected. This is a blow for the ESWC tournament, it loses a great competitor full of ambition to defend his title.

Poland Michal "Carmac" Blicharz of SK Gaming has released footage of a presentation taking place on stage before the Quake Live 1v1 finals at Quakecon.

The footage includes Netherlands Vo0 chatting up an unknown girl and another girl giving away a bra in exchange for a ticket for a prize draw. It also shows Belarus Cypher being told he has to wait until it's all done as well as how the MCs have no idea about the Quake Live tournament that took place or previous Quakecons.

It's worth a watch so make sure you check it out.

Carmac has also written up his thoughts on the event over at SK Gaming.

Why is it fucking up every couple of days? It worked perfectly then all dodgy results when trying to send messages? Why? Stop tampering with shit & messing up things that work(ed) fine as is.

says 382 users online right now, lowest ive ever seen it by far & part of that will be the annoyance from post results. Remove all ability besides Nicky, that includes Sujoy too; he can have VIP status though.

In the Summer I shall be embarking on an epic journey of creating a Q3 movie! But to do so I need demos. VQ3/CPM footage is fine.

1v1, TDM, CTF, NTF frags accepted from pracs/pickups/officials. Funny frags fine too.

I don't want any footage used in previous movies. If you think you got something decent then rar the demo along with a text file saying the type of clip it is (frag/cap? time it takes place?) to [email protected].

This shit's gonna be bigger than the iPod so make sure you're a part of it!

I don't, I played my match much more relaxed and I managed to play much better that way, kiLLu deserves to get money aswell, he was a really good player in this tournament.

For those of you liking/not minding media with subtitles then do I have a series for you! It's called 1 Litre of Tears and is based on a true story.

Synopsis: The story begins as Aya prepares for the new semester. Despite being happy, she suffers from slight physical problems, which only her mother seems to notice. However, one day, she falls unconsciously on the floor. After she is sent to the hospital, she is shortly diagnosed with the disease. Despite the fact that she is diagnosed with the terminal illness, she does not lose the will to survive. She still makes friends with others, including her first love, Yuji. She later develops an interest in Haruto. Although somewhat cold, Haruto was still kind to her. Meanwhile, her health continues to deteriorate. Knowing that she will not survive for long, she returns a gift to Haruto, who discovers the fact when he reads the love letter that Aya gave him. In the last episode, she dies peacefully, and her parents mourn her.

I like how they include the negative treatment of the ill rather than just sympathy & everyone being helpful (other parents want her kicked out of school because of the distraction & girls that help her move around start to become annoyed with doing the work).

The movie's based around the diary of a girl who suffered from the illness. For those interested in giving it a try then the whole series has been uploaded to stage6. You'll need tissues at the ready though because even the most heartless person would cry at least three times during the series! If you need more encouragement then the star is super cute!

The story revolves around a 29 to 30 year old girl called Kim Sam Soon, single and overweight, who is the third daughter of a rice mill owner. After her breakup with her boyfriend, she managed to land herself in a big French restaurant working as a patiesseur for a rude and angsty 27-year-old man called Hyun Jin Heon. Both were in bad terms ever since they set eyes on each other. But one day, Sam Soon finds herself in need of 50 million won (Korean currency, approximately $50,000) to pay for her mother's house. She agrees to be Hyun Jin's girlfriend for that amount. During their pretend dating they slowly become more affectionate with each other.

The best Asian drama that I've seen. The series averaged 37.6% of the total viewers there, with more than half of all viewers tuning in to watch the finale. Won a load of awards at this big TV award ceremony over there (MBC Awards).

Snow White was desperate for a fuck
She went to the woods to try her luck.

She'd almost given up looking,

Thought i'd post this due to the UK vs US finals coming up soon and many of you may not of seen something like it before.

It's a $10,000 2v2 MC tournie. 6 teams of two from the USA and 6 teams of two from the UK (1 dropped out) battled it out over 1 day. Each team played each other twice and the top pair from each country will go head to head in Las Vegas soon for all or nothing (the way all tournies should be).

For those of you who dont know about it (every1 outside of the UK unless its shown on bbc in europe etc) its where they get a panel of 5 ppl in government or other roles and then the public (audience) gets to ask them various questions. some good episodes if any1s interested :o

8th july on the question time archive includes george galloway (mentioned on the american censorship post) and the US election special includes michael moore. the debates get pretty heated sometimes but thats the good part \o/
