Is your first name really "Master" ?

nope they just call me the master :pp

that low texture effect (aka picmip) wont really increase the fps.

i need this cfg for a friend of me he has noob pc

There's no trick to it, choose the "performance" preset and then type in console image_downsizelimit 1 and image_downsize 1 but like noctis said the picmip 10 won't boost your fps that much but it does look cleaner though :)

i know! i played enemy territory and rtcw and i was such config nerd trying every cvar to get more fps ( 1ghz pwner :p so i needed it :D )

cfg nerding is what makes quake-spawned games cool imo :)

Use q4max and ambient lighting or whatever

Q4MAX > Profiles > Preset Performance : you won't get more fps than with that ;)

plus: It acutally looks ugly enough i think :P

i rather have stable fps instead of eye-candy lagging stuff

nah, i have set everything on high with vertexlightning on.

Can't stand pixelated edges etc.

ah well, i played for years with a pentium 3 with 1ghz so :P i am kinda used to it :P
