Worst fireworks night ever TBH. It pissed down with rain the whole day and night and it is still going:(

um i dont understand your point, but ok.

anyway heres my own personal view on fireworks night/bonfire night/guy falkes night:

luckily i live in a fairly remote area with not many houses so there arent many fireworks in my area and certainly no kids setting in dangerous ways and at a time when its done for the sheer annoyance rather than for the bang. if i had more money, id probably live in a 100% secluded area, even if it would make me a recluse, i wouldnt want a big house, the area is enough. anyway i dont understand fireworks night, once a year is too often make feel like a special event, you have one fireworks night as a kid and then it just fades. one could argue christmas is the same or easter, but fireworks night is so overdone and tacky, not to mention fireworks scare the crap out of me. i wonder how many people die of heart attacks caused by the bangs on fireworks night. a bonfire i can understand, a bonfire is a nice reflection on where we are in written history or more likely simply a reminder of the path life takes. i once had a firework land on the skylight in the room i was in on fireworks night, that gave me a fright.
