i still have no idea tho why they cost near 50000 in austria, and it seems more like 30000 or 35000 in the rest of the world
dont they like us to drive fast cars here?

m3 and s4 start at about 65000
and please dont compare an evo to an r32 :)
car magazines compare their performance to a 100000� porsche or similar
and i tend to believe them

nah a new m3 isnt worth 60000. btw, u can get used recent ones at under 20000. I just find it silly spending 35000E in a 2.0L 16v 4 cylinder.. and lol @ the inside :/
why does everyone judge cars over their performance? Are they nice to drive only if they got 500HP? I'd rather have one with some nice torque & at least a 6 cylinder. Im not saying this car is shit, but its really overpriced.

You mean 6 onwards. The evo 6 was almost identical to the 5 and that was a badass. They fucked it up with the 7+ though, it don't look like such a nutters.
Oh an by the way(to the thread starter), this car is one of the most sensational cars in the world, it can do things most cars can only dream about and it beats most things in the real world. Yet ironically it's priced much much less. In the right hands there are probably less than 5 road legal cars that could keep up with this on a twisty road, yet you can pile the kids in the back and go shopping in it. Bonkers car!
