As soon as its canceled, drop down the console and note which .pk4 file is missing. Try searching for that .pk4 file (or files) on Google and download them to /quake4/q4base.

You could also join a server where the download is enabled and try to get the map from there.

Best to find a custom server (or connect to various ones which offer auto download) which has q4max installed or something, they tend to have map packs which will probably have your map in there, then try connecting to this server.
