For Deathadder 3G is 1800 dpi and 500Hz for sure. (1000 Hz better btw.)

You should update the firmware, set dpi/hz that you need and then you may deinstall synapse

Yes DA 2013 default settings: 1800 dpi/500hz like H1ghlander said, but synapse 2.0 isn't as bad as what people said, honestly. Except if you use it with the previous DA it's shit, don't do it!

Well, according to thunda some people on OC.net have reported that with the newest firmware the smoothing has at least been reduced to minimal amounts.

1800 dpi for DA will be the best for sure than.

ok guy i'm using it at 1800dpi 500hz without synapse 2.0, and it works flawlessly, just like the krait 2k13. Build quality seems very good and the mouse looks dope :D

if the drivers are gone then it shouldn't matter, unplug and replug in to the same PC if it's still 1000hz then it should stick.

I've seen somewhere at OCN a reply from a guy who seemed to know his subject while talking about mice, and he said something like "the smoothing is like adding 2-3ms to your ping, so it's hardly noticeable"
Is that true ?

And in your case, could you feel the smoothing yourself ? Or did you read somewhere at OCN that some people told everyone that there's smoothing in the da 2k13 and that it's pretty bad ?
Can you enlighten me about all this shit cause i'm pretty lost.
And I still believe that smoothing is placebo and rumor, or maybe the so-called users who tested the mouse to death, did it wrong ? Like using a not-so-accurate software or making theorical calculations out of their asses ? :D

I can feel smoothing on the g400s, and a delay when making small adjustments in the opposite direction. I have 120hz 125FPS on 1280x960.

I think it's a feel thing I can feel it on g400s, and to a lesser degree on g100s(might just be delay).

i notice it with my corsair m45(pwm-3310) and cm storm alcor(a3090) with firmware 2.0 or 3.0.

yea, alcor feels fine with default firmware.

then uninstalled synapse 2.0 (after registering my account).

after a reboot of my computer the mouse still performs at 1000hz even after uninstalling(without) synapse.

if i unplug and replug the mouse or if i plug it in in another computer will it stay at 1000hz ?
