As you've never used /forfeit yourself: it only works when you're down in term of frags, cooller must have disconnected. And of course you could look up coollers profile as well where it would say exactly that.

Some people have retarded top 5 beaten as well, and it's mostly due to 999s or quits, I'd propose to nullify these games that, statwise, don't look coherent (player 1 wins, player 2 has more frags) - qlr shouldn't give player 2 the win either, or it could be abused after a quick first frag.

i have but i don't check qlranks too often and ql.com match history even more rarely.

this is a problem, but it's not really a QLRanks problem, QLRanks assumes all matches are played til the end. in this case, disconnects trigger an end match event and a win for the remaining player.. so QL recognised GLK350 as the winner regardless of frags.

He has a great nick, therefore deserves it.

introduction of qlranks did not influence the game in a positive way. its a tool thats got big potential, but atm its useless

I agree with you about potential. The way it is right now, it scans/updates/whatever player's games in a really odd way which affects the elo rating by making it higher or lower than they should be. How much higher or lower? I have no idea but throwing played games into random order messes up what a person's elo should actually be because, say I won 10 games in a row and then lost 10 in a row.. that's how the elo rating should be calculated. In that order.

However, if those 20 games get updated as, say, 3 wins then 4 losses then 7 wins then 6 losses, it's all messed up because instead of calculating those 10 wins first and judging the 10 losses from that point, every single calculation becomes incorrect from the moment the first updating time-line error occurs.

This not only affects the elo of the player where the elo timeline is messed up, but, everyone he/she plays against.

I don't mind Elo as far as a useful tool. Nothing wrong with that! I wish it wasn't abused, though, by stat-whores.. =( And I'm not hating on sirax. I just wish it were more... tidy(?).
