Xornet vs WMO? (21 comments)

Right now I'm using a mouse that probably isn't very good and I found a Wheel Mouse Optical in my house so I was considering using it.
I read that the Xornet has prediction(but can be disabled)but it is a cheap mouse and has good reviews
Is the WMO or the Xornet better?

Since I got low playing space my sens is high. Looking at links I think the twenty bucks for a xornet could be used elsewhere.

i have high sens, and my xornet works fine - no skips, no jumps, and if there is prediction, it hasnt affected my aim in the slightest since having it... for the money you cant really go wrong, i went out and bought a spare as they were so cheap.

edit: oh - one thing i would say though is i think it depends on the mouse surface you use as to how it performs, its great on my hard plastic at home, not so good on my razer fabric pad at work.

Its funny how people who don't even know what prediction is, complain about it.
Sensor it he same that was used in bst's first beta samples (avago adns-3050), so it is not complete rubbish, firmware might be worse though.
As long as you like its shape and use it on proper pad with low dpi, you should be fine.

there are alot of xornet firmwares so you can decide what feels best. i dont really get the 'do not buy' things people say about it. the mouse works aight for me usually ^^

waiting to go back to a spawn when a firmware fixes the voip problem i have with it.

On ESR, most of the time yes.

You might want to check out the latest zowie products, a bit expensive but so far a lot of positive testimonials from reliable sources.
