You'll have to wait (most likely a year). But since the new GTA is built to fit console standards it will just be a cheap console-port when it gets released. Buy it for the console, otherwise it's a waste of money.

GTA 4 was a failure for PC. i5 + 660 GTX couldnt make it run properly... Plus the gameplay sucked ass. I hope they get it San Andreas-right this time.

am i the only one who gets bored instantly in open world games like GTA? especially when to progress in singleplayer you have to do stupid missions.. like take me there, do this, talk to that guy, customize your character at the barbershop, level up some shit.. zzz

story in gta IV was quite good when you got into into it. First time i "cared" about the protagonist in a gta game enough to keep wanting to see the end of it all.

imo Vice City had most captivating main character in history of series, you could tell that's some real gunslinger, hadnt that feel about SA or gta 4 or any dlc

You should try Skyrim, I didn't even know I was through the singleplayer. People in that land are the worst bunch of #care - no credits, no real acknowledgements of any sort. You just continue playing until eternity. In an article someone wrote to get the main quest 'off your back' first, then the real game begins.

if it gets ported to the pc then it will be just that, a port. Just get a 360 and hf (not ps3, 360). Buy the game, live, sp and mp until you are bored then rgh it.

im not gonna get gta for a console anymore, 4 ran like shite. fps between 5 and 35 is not what i call playable. gonna wait for the pc version and play it when i have a competent rig that wont ruin the game :)

i mean srsly, 1 explosion in gta4 and the ps3 shits itself. driving fast in gta4 and u run into popup issues cuz ur going too fast. the game was always meant for the PC since the consoles cant keep up/programming is way inefficient.

they also think that games work perfectly fine on 30 fps, which is clearly an excuse saying they cant program well enough to give more fps. (same thing with quake4 and its 60 fps engine on the pc, 60 belongs on consoles, 120 on pc, period)

The only way to run GTA 4 fast and efficiently at max settings is to use brute force. And I'm talking about a 4.7 GHz overclocked 3960X with 16GB RAM and 3-way SLI GTX 680's in a water cooling circuit.
