tried the single player which was ok, pretty linear and bland - the MP was the same if you ask me - from what i played it was just 4 plyr co-op, trying to hold off waves of NME's...

haven't played it yet as I'm reluctant to install origin but I hope they didn't go any further into the direction of simplification like they did from part 1 to 2.

Yea, that's my hope as well. I liked the multitude of side-quests and that they got rid of the god-damn mako exploration, but the skill system and inventory castration left a bad taste.

I liked it, but it seemed like an early/rough version. Some of the animations were still rather off (Anderson was terrible, for instance), lip sync is still off, and the water on the first level seemed to have some texture issues.

Origin was annoying to set up, and I'm still considering if I should wait it out to see if it will come to steam.
