If we could find out how much the rigts to quakelive cost, prolly no more then 50 000$,,dunno, lets say its 50k$, we could then create a company that would be completely transparent and worked like democracy, where people would donate to this company and by doing so automatically becoming a "share-holder" , so theoretically 500 people could donate 100$ (for example) and "run" the company, if the target ask price isnt reached, the donations are refunded.
So if it works, with proper advertising, these people who initially donated could get their money back and programmers would actually be payed. So then we can fix quakelive.


This is idea is obviously not going to happen, ever, but i just wonder how much money ID would ask for a practically dead game.
