Grimm is a rising player in the North America duel scene. He was kind of enough to sit with me today and answer some questions.

Fudge: How are you today grimm?
grimm: good.

Fudge: Could you name some of the positive influences on your playing?
grimm: Rapha, killsen, and strenx, for being cool folks.

Fudge: Are you planning to go to any LANSs anytime soon?
grimm: I went to qcon and I want to go to more, but there are none in na,and I am not sponsered.

Fudge: Yes, that is dissapointing. Overall are you pleased with the NA duel scene/community?
grimm: No, [a] bunch of people have the biggest egos. If people wanted to actually learn from the game, instead of looking good, the scene would grow.

Fudge: Where do you think the community will go in the next couple years?
grimm: In its current state no where, we need better attitudes before it gets bigger.

Fudge: How long have you been playing Quake? Have you played any other games besides Quake?
grimm: [I played ] Q3 FFA when I was 10 for a little bit, then stopped for WoW. [I] then got back into it with DeFraG, then 2009 got closed beta for QL.

Fudge: At what time did you start to become competitive in Quake?
grimm: around 2010, don't know the exact time.

Fudge: Overall, are you pleased with your performance? Do you think you could improve?
grimm: Hell yea! I am very pleased.

Fudge: Do you think you could reach top tier in QL's duel scene? Maybe compete with some of the "pros?"
grimm: Yes.

Fudge: So overall, you think Quake holds promise for you to grow and become a better player.
grimm: Yes, not as a career but more of a hobby where I can learn.

Fudge: I see. Well, thanks for answering this interview! :)
grimm: Yep!
