Is this sarcasm? I can't tell because everyone here complains about every day/time any quake is played.

I just see people complain about weekdays saying it's a week day and we have class, etc. Then it's on the weekend and everyone's complaining that it's the weekend and that's when everyone's going out with friends, etc. That's what I meant by it. So much complaining when we should really be thankful there even ARE cups still, with quake on such a decline.

I like to think of it this way. A lot of people dedicate work / school to the majority of their weekdays, and there just is no time for a majority of people to play a video game when they have a project or some work to do. Weekends however are best spent partying and bullshitting (Thursday is the only exception and Friday). Saturday is a very popular day to just chill, and so is Friday. Thursday people drink and Monday through Wednesday people are swarmed with business. So, look at it this way, Sunday is on reserve. A majority of people don't have plans on Sunday and rarely do shit in preparation for the work day the next day and mass amounts of work, but in reality, people never get half of that work done anyway on Sunday and save most if not all of it for Monday/Monday morning. Which is why, Sunday's are ideal for our very American/work heavy culture that demands we don't do anything and be lazy only on this really boring day. I don't know about the other North American countries and South American, so Canada I can't speak for you, and Mexico, but that's how it is.

Well that's probably true for some people. My point is, there sure is a whole lot of complaining going on no matter what day it is. I mean I really doubt there's only one day a week that most people here play. A lot of people here probably don't have full-time jobs. Even if they did, you've still got several hours after getting home to eat, lounge, and play, so I don't see why that's a problem either. Sunday may be the BEST, but really there shouldn't be any problem with any day for the majority of people here.

You are generalizing and making really bad generalizations.

Every single thread for one of these small cups, there's always people whining about how bad the day is that they chose for it. That's not a generalization. And it's also completely true. I guess you spoke for everyone when you said that Wednesday is inconvenient. It's as good a day as any.

Any generalizations I made in my post were just as general (and more valid) as your post about what people are doing on certain days of the week/weekend. Some people do more on weekends that they do during the week.
