ModDB is a suppository for few decent mods, a myriad of old WIP mods and some indie games.

With desura, they seem to be more selective with the mod entries. As in, all those joke entries or dead mods with no news updates on ModDB, aren't publicized through desura.

if you have a mod on moddb, there is a publish tab when you login and go to your mods page, which will take you to desura. the only way to keep to 2 sites seperate, is to auto remove them from desura if a mods gets archived on moddb and is listed on desura

from a "developer" view, desura would be kind of pointless, if people dont want to update a patch login into moddb and checking the watched mods updates, it is there problem
