Yes,they do play on public duel servers sometimes before practising for upcoming tournaments.But I don't really think more casual games to be honest.But then again,I could be wrong.

I played Zero4 once. Went something 7 - 1 in his favor in the first 2 minutes of hub and then he kicked me back to spec. I lol'd.

It kind of depends on the game I guess. In CoD4 pro mod it used to be pretty common to see pro players like prank and crzg aliasing under weird names. The only people who ever noticed were the nerds who knew some player's pb guids by heart.

CAL had this mod for CS that would search the player's steam ID and display what team they were currently on.

ESL now have an addon like that, it'll search up their team-history for you and display it to everyone.

no unless they wanna waste time their, for example pub ctf consists of 70-80 percent braindead people, duel server can be pub, most of the ppl just go to spec and wank, like that time when toxjq was practicing aim in warmup for a few hundred hours and a 16 slot or more duel server was all full with ppl that went to wank

Yes, though in QL it happens more often with CTF and TDM players.

I have played burnedd, cooller, stermy, tox and a few others on a pub server just by randomly joining.

What about the "battlefield" games?

i used to play battlefield 2 and was "pro", pretty much only played on this one public server called WAIB and it was unranked, did sometimes go into ranked but not often at all

It's a shame that the only way to earn the highest rank (four star general) is to be on the global leaderboard. Which is impossible unless you stat-pad the hell out of your profile.

Depends on player and game. I've seen pros playing pubs fairly often in ET, but always same guys... Guess they liked pubbing...

i played jibo a couple of years ago when his shaft was really on
in the beginning i didnt know who he was i landed a couple of sick rails onto him then he was going all out
30-3 on ztn or so:) i noticed the sick lg and asked who he was and he dissed me by saying: show me the power noob!! 8-) then he said he was jibo

ive seen walter duel under an alias one time i think

they def. frequent the pubs but probably for nothing more than shits and giggles

I've played 2on2 CA with k1llsen once. Also you regularly see public duel servers with pro players on them.

I watched rapha and k1llsen duel some people on pubs last night. I have seen a bunch of others on random pub games too.
