I just relapsed. Got this mouse sensitivity bug again. Some other players have it too, but don't actually know they have it. They say they are aiming badly and that the mouse is too fast/slow at times etc but don't even realize they have the bug.

So sad. LOL. Lucky i hardly play anymore, shit's so boring.

1. Make freezetag free
2. Quakelive duel Ladders on the actual website with 'challenges in profile, so u log in and see 5 guys challenge notices etc'
3. Capturestrike for premium players
4. QuakeLIVE map contest created on quakelive website with their own map builder and textures and saved on the website so every map created is considered property of id.(prizes given away to winners of it of course)

Is there any actual proof? Like, did you or anyone measure cm/360, to see it changed significantly? maybe even make a little movie to show id....

So far it sounds exactly like placebo. When my hand gets tired my aim slows down. Feeling resets every day. sens doesn't.

Actually, i was wondering the same thing. Has anyone actually gathered empirical evidence on this bug?

I lose my "feeling" of sens quite often, but i'm an extremely moody player that uses very high sens, i wonder if it's all in my head or if it's actually QL being a dick.

I did measure it once but I didn't document it. If I have a "relapse" I'll be sure to make video footage of it happening.

There's no empirical evidence to be found because the bug in itself is random. People who have measured their 360 distances ended up with results so close human error could not be ruled out.
As for the feeling thing, we all know about it. Except that I've yet to completely loose it within seconds in another game.

But the vid is a nice idea ( not that they'd care more ), that way I'd be able to show people how fun it is to suddenly have to use a whole qck+ to 180.

I think people rely too much on "The perfect sens" and don't realise that alot of players who go to lan events have to change up sens i.e rapha @ iem or spart1e @ some lan I forgot.

Essentially it really only takes a few minutes to adapt to a new sensitivity. Just spar with an opponent who's on the same server as yourself and use all different types of weapons. Lg, rg, rl etc

To answer your original question no I don't think I have ever got that bug. Or at least I hope I haven't :P

what kg said + shouldn't have to change the sens anyway ( can't even see a reason why they'd need to do that in 2011)
