Not that I'm a scholar, and I may be opinionated, but I think terms like "friendly match" or perhaps "doesn't count for anything" may also describe the troubling word at hand here.

It might take you a couple tries, and although I'm starting to sense a lack of intellectual comprehension, I think you should try to go over what I said slowly. Take your time. You might get it.

u just misused the term. in the context of e-sport matches it is not used the way you did, but i am glad you wont answer anymore and save me some time

I'm not fighting you. The first comment here was you questioning my terminology, rather than commenting on the demo. What's more important to you? In your post you said context to an audience. Quake Live, as all similar games, has a spectator bracket. This must be the audience you were thinking of. I'm glad we're on the same page now.

Do you realize he was playing all day, bored off his ass. He's just trying to practice, so he kept pushing himself to keep playing. I was on periodically throughout the day and I saw him playing even worse. The demo I provided here was earlier on. I believe he was trying and somewhat on his game.

It's hardly far fetched to think that an "exhibition match" could have been played on some sort of event, cup or league. Obviously it does not have to be, but its easy to assume. He asked you a simple question ArKtiK. Instead of just simply answer "friendly duel" you turned into an ass and felt the need to start a dick measuring battle. Like most chicks you fight to be right, instead of reaching a conclusion amongst both and actually learn a thing or two.
Honestly any reply that tries to be witty after this just proves my point.

You know something like I watched the demo, here's my opinion of what's to be discussed here, but I had a quick question - by Exhibition did you mean they we're performing in front of an audience at a LAN? ..and it didn't count or something. o_O

I chose the word Exhibition because the duelers are of high enough caliber. I truly believe my terminology may of just been too much.
I felt it necessary to educate him on the matter. So I that's what I did.
