There are actually people out there who aim by only moving the entire arm? That's pretty stupid.

When I used low sens, I used fingers for small adjustments, wrist for medium ones, and arm for large turns. Made a lot more sense that way.

It's not stupid, it's what you're most comfortable with. People can aim with wrist, fingertips, and arm, or a combination of them. It's whatever you're most comfortable with.

the idea was to make green crosshair more visible on the green enemy and at first he used green then switched to something else but those black colored upper keels re more visible than whole green actually u should check this out on your own

avek used green crosshair and white uppers but it didnt work so good so he went back to whole green keel and yellow crosshair and im using it too its the best possible combination in my opinion

In CPM the seconds don't show up until the last moments... That's probably what he plays.

By feeling and routes. You would be surprised how well people would time if the timer was set like in CPMA (seconds blanked out until the end of the match).

Most people won't bother with extra timers by their computer and they wouldn't be possible to use in lan tournaments.

what do you call big? sens 10 on 400 dpi? cypher using like 3 times bigger sens then strenx, avek using big accell (tested in DH, dunno settings), noone using NEAR strenx low sens, so I can say, top players aren't using very low sens, but most quiet low for quake.

As discussed in earlier threads strenx uses the kinzu, with sens 2 (assuming 400 dpi ).

I tried thos settings myself with the kinzu and I cant do some of the fast turn that demos / streams shows him doing due to the mouse crapping out. The mouse has a very low malfunction speed and problems with positive acceleration.

what am I missing?

If I can get the sensor to work like a normal mouse this is the mouse of choice ( weight, buttons and shape is perfect for me)

you can clearly see that he doesnt use 800dpi on the videos that would end up like a 360 on 60-65cm, and last time ive spoke with him he said he was using 1600dpi. Sens 1 on 1600dpi without accel is pretty low too imo. im using sens 1.2 on 1800dpi and i got pretty "low" sens

1.2 on 1800 isn't low sens, cba to calculate it but I'm not even sure it goes above 20cm/360.

He made a pdf that explained his mouse settings a while ago (like a year or something). They're probably the most similar to cooller or zamuz, at least with 400 dpi. The accel is 2.5 but with in_mouse -1 and a low windows sens, so it ends up being something reasonable.

I don't really how old the cfg I have is [ was in sk ] but in q3 he was using sens 7 in_mouse 1 standard yaw and a slightly increased pitch.
