I bought one 5 or 6 months ago, I really liked it at first, then I hated it and now I just consider it alright. You're right though, it's expensive and I don't think it was worth it. I wasn't aware before hand that my hands would be too large to use one of the two interchangable grips that it has, which is a shame.

I have been using it now for a while. At first the only draw was the precision since the shape was awkward and it's pretty heavy. Now I have been using it for a while and it's great for the stuff I play (Quakeworld, Quake live and SC2. I think the hardest adjustment I had to make was to get used to the shape (precision grip) and the weight. It's pretty easy to fingertip it but the weight makes it unconfortable. Now I fingertip it with some support, like a fingertip palm grip ^^

I like da but had to stick some custom shit made of tape on its side cos i was struggling for a grip when my hands were cold or sweaty + im accidently clicking mouse4 at least once every two duels (got rj script bind thar so it can fuck me up rly bad)

a g9x is what you need

I have a G9 and the exchangeable casing doesn't really fit 100%, it feels like there is 1mm of space that makes the whole thing shaky. I'm not sure if they improved this on the G9x. After a while (like a year) I switched back to my G5.

buy new zowie FK and tell me how it is as i'm considering to buy it too. ;)

I have a G9 and it's ok. Casing fits 100%...or at least the smaller casing does. It's durable aswell, considering I bought a new mouse every year or so and I'm using the same G9 for years now.
