The people that accuse you of joining a lower skilled server are more annoying. Whenever I play duel, which I haven't for a long time now, I use detective. I know it's not perfect but it should be better than random. I think difference in skill is just amplified in a 1-vs-1 situation. Close games are quite rare.

If you can't take a beating, don't play duel, there's only a very small percentage of people who don't take a whooping from someone. That's clear when you see how much difference there is between no.1 and no.16 finishers in tournaments.
