On PS3 you can use a keyboard and a mouse afaik.

EDIT : It depends if the game has support for these controllers.

Not sure how it works on PS3, but PS2 has HORRIBLE drivers.

I'm just glad to see Vermeulen and LH are finally getting some kind of payoff for their hard work. I'm not surprised that the band of imbeciles that makes up the current Nexuiz community is throwing a fit, I've pretty much completely given up on them after they rejected our 2.6 rebalance effort.

I know that at best it'll just be a console FPS, but I'm looking forward to hearing more about Kedhrin's redesign plan. The game has *sorely* needed a complete mechanical and balance overhaul ever since the community ran it into the ground with v2.0 onwards.

ye, gl to them tbh, i said this else where but; never been a big fan of nexuiz gameplay and their models (weapon models look really wierd for some reason) but their gfx - especially their particles and sprites and other stuff like that look awesome.

what are the movements gameplay ? some sort of qw/cpm or pk bunny hoping ?
and a weapon works as rocket jumping ?

It tries to be, but it doesn't quite work that way. You basically do the motions of a strafe jump in Q3, but you get air control like QW while doing it.

I wonder how they will manage to port that on joypad ; they should go for simple pk bunny

They should almost just go for a Warsow type movement I guess.

Still, if you're gonna play a deathmatch game on a console, it'd just be better to jump on ebay, buy an N64, a copy of Goldeneye, 4 controllers and a bucket of win.
