Regional eSports Player of the Year vote (46 comments)

Similiar to last year, Turtle Entertainment's eSports Award has started a voting process to determine which six players they will recognize as the Player of the Year of their respective regions. The regional winners will eventually be compared to eachother in order to determine who will be recognized as eSports Player of the Year.

The categories and voting sites are:

Northern Europe eSports Player of the Year (SK Gaming, fragbite, rakaka.se)

Considering the quake community is much smaller then the other games listed I doubt any quakeatier will "win" anything.
That aside stupidiest contest ever, how can u compare between quake/warcraft/SF4/etc players anyways? On top of that the reslults wont mean shit except which games have the bigger playerbase which frankly we already know...

I'd love for the Quakers to get the award, but they're up against popular and skilled WC3 and CS players. I don't want to say it's impossible, just extremely unlikely.

well, I dunno if it is ironic.

What I meant to say was that I don't think anyone would want to imagine a community site where members mostly just whine about the game they play and and attack or troll each other.

But the seeing what I guess esr was intended to be, which obviously was imagined at some point, my statement might just be ironic.

But enough with the thinking.

I'm gonna take a, b, c and d with extra cheese, extra bacon and a large diet coke (trying to watch my weight!)

the problem with people playing computer games is that they're usually less than 20 years old, and when you take a bunch of teenagers and put them together, you pretty much get what esr is now.
