I have setup quake3 on a new Toshiba satellite A200-17q laptop, and as expected it does work well, but aiming is just super difficult, and I'm outclassed in every fight due to me not being able to hit well at all.

The laptop runs vista, but frames are only seldom dropping below 125, the sensitivity feels ok as well, it's just a question of not being able to hit the opponent in fights.

I'm used to playing on a crt monitor with 100 hz while the Toshiba laptop does 60 hz. I don't know what the screen capabilities of Tosihbas laptops are, but the reason for the bad hitting is probably to be found there.

Would you say that aiming badly comes with the bad laptop screen? Maybe someone has experience with quake on Vista and Toshiba laptop screens and is able to help me?

Thanks.
