I wonder how the generation that will face the end of the world (the inevitable, the one that is predicted by the explosion of the sun and not by faggots inventing theories), would handle life. Or not that generation, but the not so distant ones (im talking about a margin like 1000 years before). I mean, If every single person knew existance will end in a couple of years, things would go Mad Max.

I think its pretty primitive to think we're all going to running around as we are now in 1000's of years time and even more so to be affected by things that could damage us now.

Again, I don't belive in such conventional ideals of danger based on how people are today and for the forseeable future.

IMO evolution (tech will play a big part) will change what is perceived as dangerous and what is not dangerous for people.

For example, 200 years ago it was possible to die from all sorts of viruses we take for granted today.

Ok the explosion of the sun or some other thing on that scale poses a much bigger risk, but so does my timeframe as I'm talking hundreds of years from now.

There will always be a major threat to be scared of, I'm just saying that the threat itself changes as time goes on.

lol. unless "generation" changes meaning a great deal by then (and it might, but civilization most likely won't even last that long [4-5 billion years]), then that's completely irrelevant and silly. also, the sun won't explode (in any normal sense).

I doubt the sun would just be like normal then explode all of a sudden, we'd probably get wiped out earlier in a slower fashion, not within a single generation. And chances are quite high that we fuck up earlier anyway so why bother :>

Well, prior to the explosion of the sun it will have been already in a red giant state for quite some time, so the worries of that geneation would be much earlier than a 1000 years anyway. Not really sure on how early though, thats as far as my geekyness goes!

Who knows if the mankind survives long enough we may even find a way to engineer stars. Imagine rejuvenating our sun so it doesn't 'explode'. Granted we don't ascend first (Stargate style ;)) 4+ billion years is a pretty looong time.

I quite like Carlsberg although there's different sorts of them that make quite a difference imo. If you ever get hold of German beer, make sure you try white beer as well (Weizen/Weißbier, mostly in the south of Germany), it's the bomb. :>

i've only had carlsberg off the tap at a bar in canada and while it wasn't bad as such... it didn't make a lasting impression on me either.

it is, i love it! drank so much of it everytime i've been to germany. found a store that sells it here aswell. hell yeah. :)

oh and Leffe from Belgium which is pretty much a white beer $$$
