101 megabits > 100 megabits, and there are a lot of connections with more megabitzzzzzz than that.

as luKrek said, who would watch movies from some low quality stream? I MIGHT just consider it with some standup comedy - but the odds that something danish standup will hit those pages is rather small.

DVD is the minimum acceptable quality, 720p x264 or above for the win!

oh and no, I don't have some swe 100/100 mbit connection, but a sad 4/.5 mbit connection :P

Fuck you and fuck off. A shitty movie is shitty regardless of quality. A good movie in VHS quality doesn't get any better on HD. 15 fps 320x240 256 kbps hell yeah I'll watch it. Fuck you snob fucks insisting on artificial "quality". I bet you buy gold plated volume knobs and wire holders for your audio system aswell.

I just spent 1150€ on HiFi :P but it wasn't on wireholders, so that's aside the point.

and imo a movie gets better in better image quality.

it wont make a shitty movie into a good movie.

But it can make a nice movie into an even nicer movie.

It's just like digital cinema, it's just a tad better than everything else.

You see many people go to the cinema, wonder why? Sure it's partly because of the social experience, but you can also get that in the comfort of your own home. So why go there, because of the experience with a massive screen with incredible detail, and an audio system that blows your mind.

Tell that duchie to fuck off. There is obviously a matter of realism, special effects, and other things they work on to make a movie more immersible experience. I, personally, can't watch an action movie with 15 fps, because I just don't see shit. But on the other hand, there is obviously a lot of quality material that doesn't rely on sensory effects.
