It was played on NA server (hence AmeriCup 2)

Euros joined the tourney fully knowing the ping handicap. My hat goes off to reppie making it thus far!

This is exactly the reason why I think europeans should not be allowed into American tournaments. When they win they make americans look bad (hahaha raped with 50 ping difference), and when they loose they say "look at the pings! on LAN u would have no chace!" etc. Either way it's a loose-loose situation for the American players, and I see only one solution to that.
(btw i dont even play qw and have no clue who the hell these ppl are)

The truth is that most americans are bad compared to the europeans in Quakeworld. This is because the NA scene is on it's downfall while the EU scene has kept on playingplayingplaying through the years. :)

Dunno. The actual european participants were very civil about ping. In that regard, fix stands out very highly in my memory especially. Only insane I remember had some whine issues but that was in another tourney (where he played def minping 100 even though he didnt have to)

There are lamers in every community :)
