VVD has announced Thunderdome, a unique tournament for quakeworld, and I'm helping him host it, along with 
Adde, Darkstorm and 
pleuraXeraphim!The main difference from Duelmania, Ownage and Showdown is a multiple division system with double elimination brackets. The intent is to allow all players of all skills to have a chance to win, rather than be brutally stomped on by higher skill players. It also affords the higher skill players a true challenge in every single game, and a real spectacle from the first round to the finals.
There will be divisions ranging from "div 0" to "true rookie" and the final number of divisions will depend on the total signups. Registration is open until February 25th, 23:59 CET. Running around in clan arena is one thing; playing an official duel with your adrenaline blasting is another! Go sign up.
