This movie proves Tom having a sophisticated taste, not to mention editing and gaming skill. The picture, how it actually looks (colors, behaviour of the models etc..) fit perfectly with the insane and brilliant jaga music. Some frags were incredibly outstanding. Ingame sound was also good, of course the stereo effect with railgun sounds were very nice. And also the replay syncs suited - again - perfectly with the music. The movie gives the viewer a very fast feeling, so that you're like "WTF WTF WTF" for 2 minutes. If there would be different sections of gaming movies, this would definately be a cult one, and a damned good one as well. He also took very orinally good care of the fact that he hates long endcredits. I simply love every aspect in it. This movie has only one small minus, and thats the picture quality in the zooming in part at the end, it had to be captured in a higher reso, but who cares this movie rocks, and suits perfectly as a goodbye gesture. I would have rated it a 9.5 but thats rounded up a 10, so here is my only 10 ever given.

that frag on cpm22 through the ra stand has to be the best I've seen in any frag movie. Great style, I like the music and imo it fit well, overall though quality is sup par. 1- the file size is way too big, 2-average frags seem to outweigh the great ones, 3- bad transitions from frag to frag. Would've been cool to go on and do more because it was a really nice paced and ends too abruptly, making it seem more like a trailer.

Negative...it was easily the rj->pummel kill on aerowalk...that was easily the funniest frag I've seen. The raw ownage of it...

unique, fast, short, nice !

When I first started to notice people posting frag movies they were of the lowest possible state. No intros, no effects, no in game sound and sometimes no music. I watched as the gaming movies became more complex and I imagined that there would be loads of movies to come just like this one. My expectations were wrong as this is the only movie I've seen that fits my vision of what was to come.
Some awsome frags throughout which can't be said for most movies.

It is a great movie, very nice quality, good shots, smooth 45fps, so great so blah etc etc but some frags are really hard to see and leave you doubting if they killed him or not, left a slightly bitter taste on first view. this of course mostly gets clear with the second/third viewing, which is the strongest point of this short movie, it's totally rewatchable and stands by itself in terms of quality unlike other vids which you only understand and appreciate if you're in the game hardcore.

Being a movie maker myself, i didn't think the vid was too original. The intro and outro was cool, stylish, and different, I'll give him that. But once the frags started, i wasn't into the feeling at all. I did not enjoy Lyon Connection with its 45 FPS, imo all movies should be 25-30 FPS, otherwise it looks weird and my brain doesn't register as well with it. The image quality was not optimal either, I think he didn't max out his Anti-Aliasing and Antiscopic Filtering. The frags were good, some nice midairs and a double rail. The music fit well with the action, but i think he could have toned the colors down just a bit and darker the feel. ;D

nice little movie. i enjoyed it.

++frags : there were some shots which really stood out, like the ra hole rail on cpm22 and the rocket jump and pummel combo
++originality : this definitely was a style that i had seen before. nice job on squeezing so many frags into such a short duration. you had content to make a generic 10 min movie in there.
+music : while not something i'd listen to, it definitely fit the whole feel/style of the movie.

-quality : by quality i dont mean the clarity of the picture alone. the re were no blocks or artifacts on the screen but the colours looked a bit washed out (maybe that was to bring some kinda old film look?) and anti-aliasing/anisotropic filtering werent turned on. the edges of the models looked sharp and jagged.
-45fps : sure it was 'oh so smooth' but is it really necessary to be THAT smooth? more space, more processing power required and a higher bitrate needed to compress. contrary to what most people think, one can get smooth motion at 25fps with resampling and supersampling.


this video was definitely worth the download but since i only collect videos which have really good editing/visual effects its not a keeper for me.
