The ASUS Winter 2011 will take place in

Kiev at the CyberArena during the 20th, 26th and 27th of February.

But the

Quakelive Cup will be played online on the 19th of February, with a prize fund of only 12 500 rubles. The group stage will be played as bo1 and the playoffs as bo3 on a SE tree.

There are many people who "always want to go there" (even in Moscow). Yet, maybe like 10-15 people actually come, compared to thousands of CS players. So it's no wonder that QL got removed off LAN.

What's the point in having a LAN that nobody comes to? More people played in the qualifiers now than would ever come to LAN, especially now that it's relocated to Kiev and regulars can't even visit.

It would be ideal if they made online qualifiers and LAN finals, however I can already picture how somebody who passed the qualifier still has no money to travel to Kiev :)

The quality is good enough, in the past I've watched bigger events with this quality as standard. I'd like to volume up game sounds. Instead of casters I prefer listening to some polish rap.

Agent got it right... QL = high fov+high sens+only rockets... he won t4 without shooting/hitting even one fucking rail, 14 frags with rockets. I seriously think rockets should be rebalanced, maybe less bouncing or less splash dmg :/.

high fov in duels is pointless

every dueler knows the map he is dueling on very well and he is only facing a single opponent so why would he need a higher fov?

im not trolling enlighten me pls cos i dont know whats the reason for rapha to use 110 fov and crazy agents 120

if u say its better for rockets... well cypher plays with fov 90

it might be good for VERY CLOSE range fights in narrow corridors but again cypher handles them pretty well

Cypher is not casual player, and agent himself have pretty good rocket too. I am just raging about fov, but when I played with 110(now 103) it's easier to hit rockets in close range. Higher sens(or accel) is obvious better for rl. It's not just me, everyone hits better rl with higher fov. When someone is close to you and circle around you shooting rockets - gl tracking him better with 90 than 120 fov.

the usual mistakes, basically, but to a still larger extent. rushing, a lot into defensive rockets, and giving away frags casually. that's ok though. seeing how much time he spent just trying to find his opponent on the map i totally understand him losing his patience.
