Schedule: Passed

The Electronic Sports League has announced a StarCraft II invitational featuring 16 of Europe's finest players which is to take place upcoming Friday at 11:00 CDT and is estimated to last roughly five hours.

The tournament will consist of a single elimination bracket with best-of-three matches, excluding the finals which will be best-of-five. At stake in the event is 200� as well as five beta keys which will be raffled away among viewers. The matches will be streamed by ESL TV and provided with German commentary.

True. Can't even be that hard to get some guys to volunteer to do it. Tons of people already commentating demo's on youtube that are actually fairly decent that I'm sure would do it for free if asked (not least for the work experience etc).

SC2 looks pretty easy to learn to be honest. I haven't even had the chance to play the damn thing, but already know how it works, build orders, units, buildings etc etc from just watching replays

What I'm (slightly) worried about is that there's no Koreans playing. Not a big deal, since they're probably practicing SC1 anyway, but that's where Blizzard are gonna find out if the game can stand the test of time. Right now it's looking more like a WC3 scene
