The $1.000 Intel Extreme Masters Pro/Am Challenge on gamescom in Cologne will start tomorrow with 16 players, the players will play from gamescom on the ESL Intel Arena. The tournament will be single elimination and each match will be best of three, while the final will be best of five. The final match will be broadcasted at 05:35 CDT Friday on ESL TV.

Maps: Maps will be decided by elimination. An admin will toss a coin and the loser of the coin toss will start the elimination. Each player then eliminates 2 maps from the pool. In the next step the loser of the coin toss will pick the 1st map and then the winner of the coin toss picks the 2nd map. The remaining map will be the 3rd map.

The remaining six slots in the tournament will be filled with sign-ups on the exhibition. Amateurs can sign up on Friday morning until 04:30 CDT. A lottery will decide which six of all signed up players will get the remaining slots and seeds.
