Movie maker par excellence sharpe has graced us with a new movie, featuring players from xentorium.

Hi everyone, this is a movie I have been working on since Dreamhack. frs asked me to do the xentorium TDM movie and I was thrilled to do it. I edited everything but he helped a lot on resuscitating the old-school era of quake for the movie. I hope you guys enjoy this, and stay tuned for some next movies to come in the spring!

UnrealNorth 2 has been a long time coming, with various movie-makers stepping up to do the title then losing the motivation or opportunity to continue. Vlad has had plenty of both and so is the one to finally bring us this epic movie for our great site and community. Many thanks to him for his time and effort!

Around 80 demos have been used from 30 players of the UnrealNorth community.Vlad will be taking a break from movie-making for a while, so enjoy his latest creation until such time as he decides to make another.

The austrian Quakeworld player Defcon5 will release his anticipated Quakeworld movie tonight at 15:00 CDT in the irc channel #qw.at on Quakenet. The movie is about the Quakeworld community and its dedication to a game which is already over 16 years old. Top players of the Quakeworld scene were interviewed at QHLAN15 answering lots of questions about the the scene and the fascination of the game.

Everyone is welcome to celebrate together with the movie maker and the Quakeworld community the release of the movie:

It`s more a case study on aesthetics in quake than a fragmovie.
I focused on architecture and exciting pictures which gives it a really smooth drive. Definitely my most progressive video since i changed my entire editingstyle. This video is an attempt not sure if i will continue going down this road.Also no jokes or "goingnuts" stuff this time next video will be freaky again.

I just had to make another quake-movie, also because the scene didn't saw one in a long long time. (And the last one I made was 7 years ago.)

The moves and frags are perfectly synced with the music and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It took me some months to create this movie. The movie is quitte fast paced and touches the actual ingame speed. But don't worry, the editing is smooth and not flipped at all. And in case you 're not sure what happened: go hit the replay button later! And yeah yeah, it's just Quake 1... and even despite my cinematic video-FX pimps it still can 't compare to newer games looks but heck.... the beauty is in the frags and in the syncs anyway!
