Your impressions of sacrifice (61 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 17:40 CDT, 12 May 2017 - iMsg
So, what do you think of sacrifice? i just watched some guy on stream say "all i'm sure of is that at some point there's a soul", and that's exactly how i felt the first few matches even though i read the basic description of the mode several times. took a few matches to realize what's going on, but even now i'm having a hard time following the match, where the soul is going etc. other than that i think the basic idea of sacrifice is interesting.

performance is much worse though in this new version. and looking at the bethesda forums it looks like the majority of players are experiencing performance issues.

*edit*
also blood covenant is terrible for sacrifice (not that it is any good in any other mode imo). it literally takes two seconds to get the soul from spawn to heavy armor obelisk.

tenkeyless keyboard with mx black keys (6 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 12:47 CDT, 27 July 2016 - iMsg
i've been using a cm storm quickfire rapid tenkeyless keyboard with mx black keys for over two years now. unfortunately it seems to have a bad connector and it keeps disconnecting as you move the keyboard around which is obviously very annoying mid-game.

so i'm looking to replace it with another tenkeyless keyboard using mx black keys but i cant find a single keyboard here in germany that fits my criteria. it was 70 EUR at the time and if possible i'd like to stay in that range. the quickfire rapid doesn't seem to be on sale in germany at all anymore.

can anybody suggest a keyboard that i should check out?

Thanks in advance.

q3 only fills part of the screen (38 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 09:21 CST, 28 November 2014 - iMsg
hi, dunno why but i just fired up q3 again (havent played in a while) and it starts up in fullscreen, but it actually only fills part of the screen. the higher i set the resolution the more it fills the screen. but jut playing on some huge resolution can't be the right solution imo... customheight/width is 1280x720 which i've been using forever. quake 2, ut all run fine (at different resolutions) so I think it must be an issue with q3 any idea what might be the problem? thanks in advance.

looking for a deathadder replacement (11 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 11:46 CDT, 23 August 2014 - iMsg
hi, i've been using my trusty old deathadder since 2009 or 2010, can't remember. it's working fine but i'd like to try a smaller mouse, a bit shorter and narrower would be nice. i gotta have two thumb buttons though. i'm a claw grip with a bit of fingertip mixed in i guess. cloth pad (razer goliathus speed) with a 16cm 360° sens in q3.

here are some mice i've been looking at online:

razer deathadder for reference:
70 x 44 x 127 mm (width x height x length)
105g

razer taipan
63 x 36 x 124 mm
95g

steelseries sensei
68,3 x 38,7 x 125,5 mm
102g

steelseries rival
70 x 45 x 133 mm
128g

zowie fk1
67 x 37 x 128 mm
90g

zowie ec1 evo
70 x 43 x 128 mm
97g

zowie ec2 evo
65 x 40 x 120 mm
93g

other suggestions:
cm alcor
60.4 x 40.2 x 124.8 mm
86

i like razer stuff so i bought a taipan yesterday but returned it just a few mins ago already. the general size is nice but i don't like the edgy shape, didn't work too well with the way i'm holding the mouse. so i'm not sure where to look next.

steelseries sensei (raw) looks nice on paper but i've read a lot of mixed reviews (doesn't work well with cloth pads, hardware mouse accel etc). unfortunately none of the stores close by have it so i can't try it out / hold it in hand anywhere. i tried a steelseries rival but it was way too long for my taste.

no idea about zowie, can't try it out at any stores either and all their mice look the same to me. and judging by the pictures they just looks super cheap. how about mouse accel?

any other suggestions? thanks in advance.

"I still remember the day that multiplayer started just barely working in Doom. I had two DOS boxes set up in my office—in addition to my NeXT workstation—to test multiplayer. The IPX networking was forwarding user input between the systems, but there was no error recovery, so it was very fragile. Still, I could spawn two marines in a test level, and they could look at each other.

I was strafing back and forth on one system and looking over my shoulder at the other computer, watching the marine sprite slide side to side in front of the other player's pistol. I let it coast down, centered on the screen, and turned to the other computer. "Bang!" "Urgh!" Twitch. Shuffle. Big smile. :-) "Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!" There was a consistency failure before the first frag was truly logged, but it was blindingly obvious that this was going to be awesome."

deathadder keeps shooting automatically (17 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 09:09 CST, 15 December 2012 - iMsg
hi, i just built my first windows pc in almost eight years.

whenever i play q3 it just keeps shooting from time to time. for example i fire a rocket and it won't stop firing more rockets until i hit the mouse button again. but also sometimes i hit the button and it doesn't shoot at all. very annoying.

i'm using win7 and razer firmware 1.25 (heard the latest updates have some kind of shit running in the background?!). i've also installed the win7 mouse accelerator fix mentioned in another thread.

i've been playing q3 with the same razer deathadder on a macbook for the last four years or so and never had any problems.

anybody know what that could be? thanks in advance.

building a new pc, halp pls (24 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 16:39 CST, 22 November 2012 - iMsg
time for a new desktop pc.

the last one i built was in 2005 and i haven't really followed up with hardware since.

i'd like to play some (newer) games and be able to stream HD shows/movies/sports to my TV (so I can avoid buying a ps3/360/apple tv) without running into performance problems. my current laptop is super sluggish when i'm doing stuff on the side while streaming which is very annoying. oh and i plan on re-using my samsung syncmaster 226bw screen.

so the parts i put together are gonna run me about 900-950 EUR total. i would've liked to stay closer to 800 EUR but i don't really wanna cheap out and bitch about it later on.

couple of questions right away:
- is the mainboard ok or will a cheaper one be good enough? i basically chose this one because it has a ton of USB ports etc... for phones, external hdds, cameras etc.
- should i maybe get an i5-3470 + cheaper h77 mainboard over of a 3570+z77 combo (planning on overclocking it) and try to get a deal on a better gfx card instead?
- a 480w power supply should do, right?
- not sure yet if i wanna use win7 or win8. the last windows OS i used was win2000...

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K 4x 3.40GHz So.1155 BOX ~ 200,00 EUR
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H Intel Z77 So.1155 Dual ~ 105,00 EUR
GFX: 2048MB Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 Aktiv PCIe ~ 205,00 EUR
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 DIMM CL9 Dual ~ 35,00 EUR
CPU cooler: Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.A (BW) ~ 35,00 EUR
power supply: 480 Watt be quiet! Straight Power E9 CM ~ 80,00 EUR
HDD: 1000GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ~ 65,00 EUR
SSD: 128GB Samsung 830 Basic Series 2.5" (6.4cm) ~ 95,00 EUR
tower: BitFenix Shinobi USB 3.0 Midi Tower ~ 50,00 EUR
bluray player: LG Electronics BH10LS38 Blu-ray Disc Writer ~ 70,00 EUR

lemme know what you think. thanks.

last weekend i was bored and bought journey ($15 at the psn store) to see what the buzz is all about. the whole journey only lasts about two hours or so, but i have played it at least four times since then. it's one of the most beautiful and most touching games i have ever played.

if you have a ps3 make sure to check it out. best $15 ever spent on a video game. (unless you bought q3 for $15).

HALP!! ezquake resolution / text size (2 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 20:08 CST, 7 December 2011 - iMsg
so...

1st generation macbook, ezquake 1.9.3 (latest version for os x 10.4.11 afaik). it is unplayable because the text takes up way too much room.

i remember playing qw on this laptop like 4 years ago and it worked just fine. dunno what happened in the meantime.

dunno why, but i can't seem to change the resolution & font size. there is no SYSTEM tab in the options menu. i've tried vid_mode but it doesn't change anything, and vid_mode restart also doesn't do anything. vid_conwidth/height also doesn't work.

i talked to up2 and [6]gnd but they also couldn't figure it out. i already posted this on the qw noob forums but same result so far.

this is what it currently looks like... the text is way too big and takes up half the screen.

vid_conheight/width doesn't work

no systems tab. no resolution change in video/graphics either.

cvarlist *restart*, no vid_restart.

looking into building a budget/value pc (24 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 00:08 CST, 30 November 2011 - iMsg
so i'm thinking about getting a new computer to replace my first generation macbook from 2006 as my "home" computer. all i wanna do is some light video / photo editing, watch 1080p videos without stuttering and maybe i'll give starcraft2 a try. mostly older games tho. i'm not looking to play bf3 or skyrim or shit like that.

the last computer i built was for quake4 in 2005. i haven't followed up with hardware since then so i really have no idea wtf is good these days. had some help from Lsv and a bunch of other people and this is what we've come up with on newegg:

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishD...r=22526867

- cpu: intel i3 2100 = $125
- gfx: sapphire hd 6850 = $145
- mobo: asrock (z68) = $90
- RAM: 2x 4gb (DDR3 1333) = $38
- hdd: western digital 500gb = $110 (fuck hdd prices right now!!)
- power supply: 380w = $45
- asus dvd burner = $20
- coolermaster fan = $10
- random micro case = $35

total is about $620 which is ok i guess. i see the i3-2120 is on sale right now, $5 cheaper than the i3-2100.

some other ideas are adding a 40/80gb SSD or so but not sure if it's worth the extra money ($95/$155) for what i'm looking to do with this computah. sure it's super fast to boot up etc (how big is a normal windows installation these days anyway?)... but other than that? also i was told to think about getting the i5-2400 instead of the i3-2100 since it's quad-core and would help with video/photo editing etc. but it's also $60 more. or how about the sapphire 6870 instead of the 6850 for $35 more?

anyway, let me know what you think. thanks in advance.

MLG bans razer's xbox360 controller (11 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 22:58 CDT, 23 August 2010 - iMsg
http://www.gamersdailynews.com/story-19369-ML...-Play.html

The big issue with extra buttons is how easy it is to mod the controller without us being able to monitor it. Modders will be able to turn the extra buttons into rapid fire buttons or a macro like RRX. We cannot simply check every player’s Onza controller to make sure they have not modded it. Sure, someone could do that now with a Microsoft controller, but by doing that they are removing a default button on their controller. People pay a lot of money now for modded controllers with extra buttons that will rapid fire or macro. The Onza would make it impossible for us to monitor this on the circuit.

just think about it: "dreamhack bans (your favorite mouse) from the quake tournament. has anything like that ever happened in the PC world? not that i know of.

There was a project that got killed at Microsoft. This project was designed to allow console gamers and PC gamers to interact and battle over a connected environment. Personally I wish it would have stayed the course. I've heard from reliable sources that during the development they brought together the best console gamers to play mediocre PC gamers at the same game... and guess what happened? They pitted console gamers with their "console" controller, against PC gamers with their keyboard and mouse.

guess what happened!

pretty interesting article imho. i haven't seen it anywhere on esr yet.

Umehara is near-impossible to track down. Initially, Capcom suggests I fly to Tokyo, find an arcade where he's playing of an afternoon and sit next to him with a tape recorder. After he declines an invitation to a UK tournament and fails to show up to a meeting we schedule during this year's Tokyo Game Show, Capcom steps in to help organise a cross-continental rendezvous, using one of Umehara's bilingual friends as an intermediary, to put my questions to him.

what game can rage you the most? i still remember my first "lol, raged"-encounter with somebody playing video games. that brand new joystick my friend bought didn't last very long when his brother was playing him on the amiga 500. lately i've been playing a lot of q3 pickup games and after almost every game somebody is raged. sometimes it's me. but that doesn't even come close to what a normal match of mario kart can do. doesn't even matter which one, they all can bring out the very best in me. right now it's mario kart ds. holy fuck. how many green turtles can you possible run into in a single match? >:O

so, which game rages YOU the most?

your favorite private LAN-party (44 comments)

so, i don't even know if people nowadays still do that. get together with a few buddies, find a basement, set up the computers, play games and trade pron.

i was recently thinking about what the coolest private LAN party was I had attended in the past. it was actually the first one i have ever been too.

two houses, seperated by a car garage, connected via a coaxial cable underneath the roofline to each house. six people in each house and team fortress classic as our game of choice. i think there was no q3test out at that time. we played for two days straight. however, communication with the other house was a little hard at times. it was great though.

what was your favorite private LAN-party moment?

so i just bought a ms explorer 3.0

i don't know wtf is wrong but the mouse acceleration in q3 is crazy when i use the 3.0. i don't have any acceleration at all with my old 2 button logitech. there also isn't any mouse acceleration in qw when using the 3.0 so I guess it's gotta have something to do with q3 settings?! cl_mouseacceleration is 0, on 1 it's even more ridiculous.

i might wanna buy a keyboard and a better mouse, but in the meantime i'd like to use a script.

lucid dream, nightmare or wtf was that?! (44 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 09:33 CDT, 20 April 2008 - iMsg
ok so since there have been a few journal entries about dreaming here on esr i thought i'd throw a story in as well.

ever since i was a kid i had the same dream when i was sick. i'm walking through the city when all of a sudden a huge avalanche hits me (not made out of snow, more like a huge pingpong ball, bigger than houses etc). i try to stop it with all my weight/power, keep struggling for a few seconds but eventually the avalanche/ball wins and i wake up all sweaty knowing right away it was just a dream.

but this time it was different. i'm kind of sick again (just a cold) and was already expecting to eventually have the avalanche-dream. i think i've had a lucid dream before, more than once actually.

so tonight i went to bed early but could't sleep until around 5am. i woke up a few minutes later after I had what seemed to be the worst nightmare ever, and it was not ye ole avalanche. i don' even want to talk about what actually happened... but it felt so real, i knew the people, i knew the place where it took place, and everything looked just like in reallife. somewhere i read to watch out for clocks etc in a lucid dream. well there were no clocks this time.

anyway, i woke up and was like wtf was that, that's fucked up and i knew it was just a dream, a really bad one. i wished i had the avalanche back lol.

ok i said fuck that, back to sleep. bad idea i guess. it was basically the second part of the lucid nightmare (or whatever it was). it started right where the first one stopped, same story (which got even worse), same people, same shit.
a few minutes later i once again woke up, this time my nose was bleeding and i had tears all over my face (cuz in the dream i was crying, no emo jokes pls lol). i was all sweaty and was hardly able to stand on my feet because they were so shaky. it was so bad, the first few minutes after i woke up i didn't even want to get out of my room and check if everything is ok, or if it still looked like in my dream. well actually, i wasn't sure if it was a dream because it felt so real (but once again, no clocks on the wall).

a few minutes ago i finally got up and went around the house and of course everything was alright. but that shit ruined the day for me. i feel like not leaving the house at all and just staying in bed. having only a few minutes of sleep doesn't help either, but i'm sure as hell not going back to sleep now...

so yeah, that's my story. ideas?

p.s: speaking of avalanches: fuck you, minnesota wild! forsberg is back! go avs go!

cod4 (xbox live) experience (18 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 00:51 CST, 1 December 2007 - iMsg
ok so I decided not to buy a desktop pc (haven't had one for about 1.5 years now, still have a laptop though) for a while after what happened to Q4 and apparently now to UT3 as well. I'm sick of being used as a beta-tester eventhough I payed 50 bucks for a "finished" game.
that's why I've been playing cod4 on my 360 for about two weeks now. It's my first ever FPS on a console and so far I really like it. of course it's no UT, QW, Q2 or Q3 in regards to gameplay and/or movement etc, but I'm definitely enjoying it a lot more than q4 and all that other crap like ut2kx. it's been a long long time since a game (especially a FPS) kept me in front of the screen for hours.

but I'm really having problems learning the maps since a lot of the maps look alike, especially the desert-maps like backlot, strike or crossfire. everytime I respawn I have absolutely no clue where I am. the radar is nice for locating enemies, but is no help finding my way around the map. so far I really like overgrown, downpour, vacant and pipeline and I hate bloc and ambush.

I wish you could somehow turn off the killcam. that's just annoying. I'm also missing a bigger FOV and cg_gun 0 :/ but that's the price you pay for playing on a console I guess.

oh well, and of course I suck pretty bad. I guess there's just too much quake/UT in me. I'm happy about every game that I finish with a positive balance. and how damn fast do you have to throw those grenades back lol. I die every time.

anyway, if you have the chance don't be afraid to give console-gaming a try, you might find something that I, and I'm sure a lot of other people, have been missing in recent PC games: fun.

ok i don't even know if this was on the news outside of the states, but anyway:

a few days ago, a student at the university of florida was tasered by the police during an open forum with john kerry.

he was known for taping practical jokes etc, but even after the official q&a session was over and he stepped in front to the microphone, kerry agreed to answer his questions. as soon as he started talking about impeaching bush the microphone was turned off and the cops tried to take him outside. he then asked "am i being arrested" without getting an answer. seconds later a bunch of cops pinned him to the floor and he got tasered.

kwari - playing games to win money (12 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 21:55 CDT, 30 August 2007 - iMsg
havent seen anything on esr about this:

http://www.kwari.com/index.htm

About Kwari

On the surface Kwari is a superior rapid-action first person shooter with all the sci-fi setting weapons and trappings you’d ever need. However there is a whole lot more going on.

Kwari has been designed with a singular purpose in mind – to give you the opportunity to translate your shooter skills into some serious cash. Everything about the game has been tailored to that effect, so much so that even an average player should be able to get ahead in the game quickly.

Every time you hit another player in Kwari you make money. Every time you are hit by another player it costs you. Every shot counts. How much is down to the stake level you play in. But this is not the only way to win.

Doing damage to yourself, breaking crates, use of certain map features or picking up additional weapons, pickups and health packs may have a fractional cost attached. This cost is transferred between a series of jackpots, prizes and awards available in the game, all of which can be won by any player, regardless of the skill or stake level of game they prefer to play.

At no point, however does Kwari take any of this money. 100% of the cash generated through playing the game goes back to the players in the form of prizes.

The most frequent of these prizes is the Pill Jackpot, which is split between the player who carries the Pill the longest, and the player who finishes the round with the Pill.

There are many strategies associated with the Pill game, so for a step in the right direction check out this tutorial.

Other jackpots in the game are won by collecting Kwari keys which spawn regularly in the game until the prize has been won. Depending on the length of the key series required to win, different jackpots will pay out over different periods, ranging from one hour to six months, and once a jackpot has been won all the key chains for that prize start again. Kwari keys can be found inside various crates scattered throughout the game, but that’s not all they contain. Crates can carry pickups, weapons or even cash prizes as well as jackpot keys.

In addition, as you become more experienced at Kwari you will receive tasks to complete in the game which will earn you a cash bonus. These tasks can be completed in a single round or over many evening’s worth of play – they stay with you until they are completed and are specific to individual players.

Kwari offers a significant number of ways for players to win, which means there are a wide range of tactics available to get ahead.

Maybe you’re a highly skilled shooter gamer who prefers to make money from other players by excessive use of the rocket launcher. Perhaps you prefer a more stealthy approach, and make your winnings from picking off crates and taking their contents when nobody is watching. You might rather get the adrenaline rush of being the Pill carrier. All these tactics work well, and undoubtedly you will find the right method to make a killing in Kwari.

At no point does the house take any of this cash – if you win it, it’s yours. You can get your winnings back to your real bank balance easily and quickly.

The game is free to download, you’ll need ammunition and this is the only place Kwari charges for anything. Think of us as your virtual arms dealer – we supply you with ammo (which works in all weapons) for a fixed cost. Depending on your style of play the amount of ammo you need will vary.

So what are you waiting for? Get signed up for the Kwari beta!

so?!

Because more than 3 billion people believe (or pretend to believe) in one or more of these documents. These beliefs conflict with one another and are causing problems throughout the world. It's time for us to take a look at the Bible, Quran, and Book of Mormon to see if they are worthy of belief.

rangers > thrashers. sweeeeeep! (1 comment)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 21:41 CDT, 18 April 2007 - iMsg
so, the first team made it to the second round. it's the ny rangers. man that 4th game yesterday was damn crazy. they really destroyed atlanta... the thrasher played a lot better today but it still wasn't enough. oh well. congratz @ shanahan and the rangers

tomorrow night it's the wild taking on the ducks once again. boogaard seemed a bit angry yesterday. let's see how this will develop during tomorrows game :>

what else... doesn't look too good for my personal cup favorite the islanders :( let's hope at least the sharks are gonna win tonight against nashville...

in case you're a comcast user (US) you can catch a couple of games every now and then (actually pretty much everyday) via livestream. i like it a lot. runs perfectly fine, even when running two streams at once. and don't forget NBC's schedule for the upcoming games. during the stanley cup finals also on weekdays! yay!

Posted by fragmaster_ @ 18:17 CDT, 9 April 2007 - iMsg
just a quick overview of my personal hopes for this year. not a lot of teams i really like in the playoffs this year :/

(1) BUF v. (8) NYI
i'd like to see the islanders win this one... but i just can't imagine them beating the damn sabres. but hopefully yashin/smyth can do something...

(2) NJD v. (7) TBL
NJD wins cuz of brodeur... the devils are so boring to watch :/

(3) ATL v. (6) NYR
don't like any of em. but the thrashers even less than the rangers...

(4) OTT v. (5) PIT
GO PENS! it's gonna be a close one though!

(1) DET v. (8) CGY
fuck calgary! kicked my avs out of the playoffs :< nad eventhough i'm an avs fan i like the wings... weird huh?

(2) ANA v. (7) MIN
i hope minnesota is gonna kick anaheim's ass!

(3) VAN v. (6) DAL
two crapteams... like i care.

(4) NSH v. (5) SJS
go sharks! i don't wanna see those mustard-colored predators jersyes anymore!

my personal final would be the penguins vs. the sharks. or maybe not the pens but the islanders? well... it probably ain't gonna happen anyway. buffalo is too strong this season... unfortunately :/

NHL: bring back the fighting?! (34 comments)
Posted by fragmaster_ @ 13:44 CDT, 22 March 2007 - iMsg
ok the first 15 minutes of the rangers - flyers game last night have been quite entertaining i have to say. fedoruk got his face destroyed once again. dude, it's time to retire, seriously! he already should've thought about it after boogaard did it the first time. i've watched a couple of his fights on youtube and i didn't find a single one that he didn't lose. well anyway, good thing he's doing fine and nothing really bad happened!

as you know (or don't know) the NHL got pretty strict after the 04-05 lockout. a lot of people don't like the fact that fighting has become very rare compared to what we've seen years ago. they say the "old" NHL was much more interesting than the "new" NHL. i don't think so. no more "first goal wins" because the refs wouldn't call hooking anyway. the game itself has become a much better game! yes, intimidation is a big part of the game and we all love a good hockey-brawl (avs/wings, rangers/islanders, flames/oilers etc), but what is a fight in a ducks/hawks game good for?! they're not fighting for a playoff spot, they don't have a long running rivalry or something like that.

but it seems like i am the only one who thinks this way. NHL ratings are down, crowds are much smaller than what we've seen years ago, and everybody keeps bashing the NHL anyway. the minor leagues that still allow fighting are growing and growing, so will bringing back the fights really improve the image of the NHL that they lost because of the lockout and bring it back to where it was 10 years ago? i'm not so sure about that.

anyway, there's a good fight going on in the eastern conference for that 8th playoff spot and i hope the panthers will beat the sens tonight to get one step closer to the playoffs. go cats go!

Dalma Maradona <3

The worldcup would be even more boring as it already is without her smile on tv when argentina plays :(

Farewell & Goodbye ping < 30 :( (2 comments)

Now this is gonna be som nerd-whine (no cheese with that, thx!) :p

today is my last day of work for this year (YAY!). I have to leave my own apartment in cologne and move back to my parents house tomorrow until my exchange year begins in august.

i've been living own my own for the past four years and felt lucky to be able to have a local ISP and didn't have to get the biggest ISP in germany.

they offered a bigger bandwith for the same price that i'd had to pay for the other one, but more importantly they offered "low interleave" (better known as fastpath in germany) instead of the "normal interleave" that the other one only had. it highly effects what ping you have. with "no fastpath" you wouldn't get a ping below 60-70 or something.

man, i miss the time when i was one of the lucky people over here in germany that could play UT with ping 30 and rape everyone with the minigun :F

but these times are long gone since nearly everyone got fastpath... too bad my parent's ISP still doesn't :< damnit! ok it's just for a month but anyway! they got the cheapest ISP available which is really bullshit imo. the routing is also shit. i used to play q3ctf on .nl xs4all servers with ping 20-30 in cologne. with my parents ISP i don't get a ping below 120 on those servers :< and they also have a 5gb traffic limit that i will have to share with my parents, my sister (no pics!) and my brother. WTF? 5gb for one month? on some days i downloaded 5gb in a couple of hours...

i guess i will have to play some offline games like... well, like... i don't know :( haven't really played any offline games during the last few years. some GTA and NFS:MW though. suggestions, anyone? no RPG's, thanks!

anyway, last day of work! yay!
