I think its pretty cool, I would make the quad room a little bit less open though.

can u make q3amphi remake? im sure that a lot of people would enjoy playing it in quake live.

Changelog:

- Established visuals.

- Added falling sounds for fog of death.

- Added a second button that also activates the crusher, but also has a viewing
screen which allows you to see someone going for RA, as otherwise the crusher
is obscured behind the walls.

- Atmospheric sounds added.

- Water in main room replaced with fog, teleporter and it`s respective destination
have been removed and a jump pad leading up to the invulnerability hatch has
been added where the teleporter destination was.

- Slightly widened the hallway next to the RG, added some CG belt ammo.

- Bridge in the LG room is now a sloped platform which can`t be walked under.

- Fixed issue with crusher not killing players instantly. (hopefully... :p)

- LG platform has been changed to not have it`s own ceiling anymore. Column
extended for cover. Floor is grated so you can damage someone from below
with a hitscan weapon like LG or RG.

- Hint brush placement for FPS optimization. Max r_speeds peak around 16,000
traingles.

- Numerous other things.

Domain of Red Snakes is now available as Map of the Week on #uscpmpickup. If you would like to test it online with other people, add up for motw and have fun! (This version is the B2 version)

Also I should note that the map will be re-branded with a new name in the next release. From RC1 onwards it will be called "Dynasty". I made this change due to the suggestions of people here, and while the old name was nice and original, it agreeably had little to do with the map in question. This new name suits the "royal gold castle" theme more imo, and since many people use full names as opposed to filenames to refer to maps, this should be easier to remember.

That screenshot looks nice. May try it with spiterbot when i have the time. eDawn guys need to improve the bots to Spiter level.

Anyway, if QL wasn't a hermetic failure we could try it with actual people.

It is available on #uscpmpickup as Map of the Week right now (although it has stayed past 1 week, most likely because no one actually played it yet), on Oranje's server, and soon probably FragLove.

I'm not sure if either of the former 2 servers mentioned are using the final version as the version available at the time they were put online was the beta 2, and I don't know if they changed it.

Well, it's still on #uscpmpickup, I think it's been there for almost a month actually. Possibly because no one tried it yet - I encourage you to give it a go if you play at #uscpmpickup. I received some very positive feedback at Q3W and some of the cpm'ers had nice things to say about it too - I'm not sure if I'll actually be there if a game starts on it, but it is still cool to know when a map has been tried out at least once online. :)

If there is any games, feel free to send by some demos - I might put one of them up as a vid on my website for everyone to see, once I get a Weebly Pro subscription.

The map has only one power-up to control in the main room, but teams can also guard the RA and Mega, although either room has a hazard to watch out for. For the MH you risk falling into the water and alerting nearby enemies, or in the case of RA you can risk falling to your death in the fog pit. There's also this nice button that you can push to crush people coming from RA.
