You know, I didnt like where this was going at all.

But into the action, some of us on comms were arguing that we shouldnt give them all our timeouts which could greatly fuck us up if we had a player going 999, knowing that they could have fielded one of the 5 other (non-lagging?) 4K players who were watching the game on stream. We had exactly 4 players available that night. That is where it all came from.

Not to mention that our 'lameness and childish' acts were greatly counterweighed (is that even english ? :D) by the fact that they did not even bother letting one of their player who was on the server to avoid getting fragged and have a more succesful hiding strategy.

May I point to you that, no matter how lame the community thinks we were on this case (although we can argue about this, read above..) not wanting to let a 4th player join to get a better shot at winning could be considered cheating if we complained, which we did not.

So please stop with the harrassment, I know ESR is in need of new e-dramas cause it's been a long time since we've seen Yuka or Sombra, but seriously get a little bit of objectivity when you're raging on people.

Personally I would draw the line at using a cheater in my lineup, but I would far from rule out the possibility of trying to use a rule to my advantage to win in the heat of the moment where I would likely forget thats its supposed to be about "having fun".

Since I ended up on the topic, Id say that the whole "going pro" thing ruined quake as it made the game about winning some small amounts of cash instead of about having fun. Q3 being horrible for casual play was probably a reason too ;)

Oh, Ill just add that Im not saying I wouldnt do the silent agreement thing, just that its what it is.

We never intended to not let any of them join. We wanted them to fix their ever-dropping player by maybe letting another 4K player join. For the sake of God-knows-why they wouldnt and it kinda pissed us off a bit :-)
