I am not planning to even open it until my new Zowie fails. :) I am just asking for general info about it.

g400s is predictionless and the cable is reinforced ( a lot of peoples G400 die from the cable breaking)

haven't heard of any issues with this one myself

btw. g400 didn't have any issues :), they just removed prediction from it. i wouldn't call it an issue

This is what I got from logitech support when i was asking about replacing rev1 with rev2:

"Unfortunately angle snapping is an intended behavior and not a product defect,"

I've been using the g400s for almost 2 months now, so far it works like a charm.
I just hope the cord holds up to the quality of other components because i already had two of my g400 mice warranted.

im saying that it starts being buggy after only a few months, everyone i spoke to who has/had one experienced the same.

ofc stuff dont have to last forever but more than 3 months pls.. various people said they are playing on their 3rd or 4th g400 ...

go figure.

I have the mouse (g400 without angle snapping, the newer version) for months already, without any problems. I love the mouse, best mouse shape for me. I had a mx510 before, and the scroll died, then i tried to repair it and fu*ked up the mouse even more, so i needed a new one. It's a bit heavier then the mx510 was, but i still love it. :)

I would think that, since it's newer than the original G400, all of those have angle snapping removed. But I have no info to back this up.

It looks hideous, that's for sure. Not that it should count as a major issue.
