used to do this in warsow. only problem was that when i played at normal timescale afterward, i felt as though i was stuck in water and had no control of my movement. the game seemed super unresponsive.

high timescale in warsow is easy with autohop.

I just finished an eye2eye duel with 50lg. Usually i hit around 35-40. Seems to help me.

Reminds me of my TF2 days. I always put the server to 1.5 - 2 timescale and then when you went back to timescale 1, you could see with your own eyes, yet still not believe that TF2 is as slow as it is. Kinda fun how quickly us humans adapt to new things.

this doesnt work. rather than benefiting from a slower game feeling after timescale 2 w/e in practice, it fucks your aim style and mouse ctrl. best way to get in the zone with lg 'fast' is to: watch several pro demos and/or shoot bots in warmup with /god and /give all after changing smth in cfg (preferably xair or fov, if not sens/accel/yaw/pitch). twister said once (excellent observation imo) that cfg modifications and feeling like ur hitting more after arent just placebo, it's your brain being more focused due to the new stuff it has to get used to

I was a bit skeptical but it actually worked very well and I think everyone should give it a try it because it's really fucking trippy.

I did a duel on ztn against Xaero at 3 on 1.25 timescale, and another on 1.5 timescale.
Then I did a standard duel against a random player on ztn, and it genuinely felt slowed down, like I was really gliding through the matrix or something.

Like OP I was so much focused on the effect itself that my overall game was pretty much awful but I also felt that my rockets were so much more on point, I also felt that my rail was insanily good, especially because I tend to have a weak rail so it was really surprising. LG/MG was pretty much the same or slightly worse. One thing I don't agree with is about the dodge, I really felt it was weaker but I'm a bad dodger anyway so take it with a grain of salt.
