If yes you should really use ELO instead of tiers, much more accurate. A really good player can drop to tier 3 if he deliberately loses two or three games vs a much weaker player.

Guys at faceit, please do smth like this every now and then on saturdays! I'm away from my powerful home pc and sexy bandwidth on weekdays. And so are many of us - grown up hardcore quakers, working and longing for Quake. Also, as we all know, anything u name is Nothink On The weekdays. Cooller was trying to nothink (or otherwise?) on the weekdays and look at him now - poor bastard got married and his wife denies him to play Quake.

I've completed QIIIA on hardcore, and then on nightmare (although it was in 1999), and I know for sure - i can win, even if u hurt me plenty, my fellow Quake gladiators. Just let me be knee deep in the gibs, let thy flesh consume my lightning, let me release my true strength, through saturday tier 3\4 cups every, lets say, two weeks, and u will know - my name is the death incarnate, and i will strike down upon thee, my fellow gladiators, with great shotgun and furious plasma.

Faceit team seems to be working with true dedication to QL (doing test cups, highlights, improving org and streaming techniques), and there's a huge probability that they will continue to support QL scene with their base, even after they launch it big time - with blackjack and whores (i.e. dotalol pussyfest), so i'm really trying to reach the faceit team's heart here (its a blue sphere with letter M inside, btw): please do the Sat.tier3\4 cups on 2 weeks- or at least monthly basis. It's the low-to-mid skilled playerbase (the 90% of QL accs) u can infect with competitive urge here. No streams needed, except, maybe, for semis and finals.
The blood of QL, which is tiersIII-IV, will run immensely better, feeding the heart of QL, which is QL itself, and raising it's healthy competitive spirit high up, hard and sturdy, just like it should be.
