I just thought I'd mark the moment that I'd been online for ten years.
For my 17th birthday (actually, a bit before), I persuaded my parents that they should get me a modem and a phone line, on the grounds that I had money due to christmas just passing, and that I had two paper rounds.
I then proceeded to run up £100 monthly phone bills for the next 3 years courtesy of Red Alert, Quakeworld and Starcraft. Hurrah!
