q3 is far from slow speed and CPM's is just ridiculous. and as far as i know, quake is the only game containing RJs. do you have a suggestion for a better game?

cpma and qw are the two best all around games right now.
they offer the chance for incredible displays of movment
big comebacks, and they both are still evolving while q3 isn't.
Without a doubt both games are a lot more spectator friendly than q3/q4.

Oh piss off! play warsow or cpma/cpm and let vq3er/ospers and q4ers be! stop whining that YOU dont like the game, some of us do!

ps. Cooller couldve made a comback on monsoon, but he missed some critical rails, and failed to keep control, he got control back occasionaly but he lost it soon enough, says nothing about q4 - says more about the skill difference between tox en cooller (at that time)

i was under the impression you didn't want it to be CPM or QW either

(If you guys want 1v1 to be the standard and big $ game than something more exciting needs to be selected. It might not be cpm, pk, or qw)

game play wise, it would be better in my opinion but it's not needed. what's more important is everything but game play, availability, user friendliness, tools, features, netcode etc.

then qw and cpm is too unbalanced? only chance of getting control back is by spawning on an armor and get a fast rl. scores tell nothing about how you played in a game of cpm and qw, thats why q3/q4 is superior to those. cause in q3/q4 (speaking of q3 as vq3 now) atleast scores are fair. you play better than your opponent, you win.

1.3 is alot faster but really q4 will always be 75% aim >_<
i have faith that 1.3 will provide a slightly more interesting game for spectators though

not if the hitboxes where smaller, the projecties where only 1 pixel thick and the damage of the rail was lowered

Its strange q4 is played on such small maps it just makes the problem worse, q3 suffers from simliar problems but is mostly played on larger maps

I watched 2 of the aph vs griffin demos yesterday and they were entertaining to say the least. the cpm1a demo from aphs pov was the best. I have found q3/gtv matches entertaining as well, but they don't offer the same level of excitement. the problem is that everything has been mastored and there isn't anything knew to find out. it basically comes down to who has the best aim for the game.
I was shocked to see that new tricks were being found out in cpm1a still today. watch cpm1a from aphs pov if you think cpm isn't as entertaining as q3 or q4. i'm done responding to this journal
