so while browsing esr i'm noticing that there's actually nothing to read or do on site, unless it's flaming on zhu threads.

it'd be nice if some people stepped up and did some regular coverage of at least one of the duel tournaments that we have going on, and maybe make some sort of power rank on the duelers (like team liquid have), etc...

just a suggestion for people willing to do stuff, i'm not one of them. i prefer to just complain and whine.

edit: i meant for power ranks to be written by people who watch duels and actually know about duelers.. i don't know shit aside from that there's evil & 2-3 more names :D specially bout how they fare on each map etc...

and as tournament coverage, just someone to recap how the action went throughout the tournament, similar like how there used to be an occasional lan coverage.

There's a local gaming that site I work with and they also pay people that post news. If you post x amount of posts, you get 5€. Something like that. It usually works if you have money, but if you don't you're going to have to work with enthusiasts. And on top of that, every enthusiast has his own ideas and creates his own content, it's "just" a matter of getting along in that regard.

they haven't been paid till recently, and most of them are still community contributors that work pro bono.

tl.net has been creating content for sc over a decade, and i mean real content. not just news like esr does last few years with an exception of memento mori going to some lan.
