i used the first version of razer da on a pad like that, works good asfar as i can remember had no problems, but be prepared that pad will last till the first or the second cleaning ; > the top dismounts pretty fast from soapy water and things like that

Why do you want to use something like that for gaming??? You can get pretty decent mousepads from wellknown manufacturers for only a bit more money if you have a budged of ~15€ for your mousepad you allready could get one of these:

SteelSeries QcK (320x270x2 mm) - 9.99€

Roccat Taito (400x280x3,45 mm) - 11.95€

Mionix SARGAS 360 (360x320x3 mm) - 12.95€

From ebay you will probably get them even cheaper and if you are lucky you can find a Everglide Fnatic Edidion, which ist imo the best mousepad ever produced.

I've tried a lot of mousepads, including the qck of course, but they just dont have enough friction

try some control edition of razer pads, goliathus or i dunno, after that you could try a piece of carpet prolly

Taito probably has highest friction from those 3 listed.

If you want friction go for Razer Goliathus Control or Razer Mantis Controll (dunno if you will be able to find one that is in good shape after all those years).

tried already :D, forget about these cloth pad, everytime they all the same to me. But the icemat one, never tried, wonder if it's best combination of smoothness and control

its glass bro. you get perfect control and absolute smoothness. friction depends on ur mousefeet and how hard you push down on the mouse

i believe icemat + hyperglides is the best combination

with this u have no friction and a 100% consistent surface, meaning that the wearing down of cloth that could hinder your aim over time is nonexistent. thing about icemat is that it doesn't grip the mouse like clothpads, so you have to learn to control it (the mouse) better, which ultimately gives you better aim in the long run imo.

No, I am using mousetape though (from www.mousetape.com), which helps a lot.

Maybe it just me, I felt like it was a lot slicker the first week or two I was using. I haven't tried washing it yet.
