I wouldn't trust that info, gtx590 would be brutal. i smell fermi style delays again (new architecture, massive chip), who doesn't remember "ladies and gentleman, This is Fermi" and it turned out to be a fake card xD.

TMSC has huge problems even with ATI's budged chips so I really think this biggie wont be available for good 8 months atleast.

There isn't any info regarding the HD 7xxx series of Radeon cards.

They're supposed to be a 28nm shrink of the current HD 69xx cards.

In fact afaik there are info about them, 7xxx budged models will be shrinked 69xx cards, while top models will have a new design.

Well dont know about twice, but perfomance bump will be significant as manufactoring process goes from 40nm to 28nm

Breaking news: GTX 780 will be twice as fast as the 680! Everybody hold off on upgrading until early 2013.

The GTX 580 is only 15-20% faster than the competing HD 6970. Plus the power requirements are astronomical.

Not really, basically it took so long that I asked for a refund for a card that's in the similar price-range, got a updated R6870. mfw overclockers.co.uk are nice guys. :p

The HD 5870 was literally twice as fast as the HD 4870 (a 100% performance increase) I certainly would like to see such a monstrous performance boost in the near future.

Perhaps the HD 7970 is twice as fast as the HD 6970?
