ok for reals: I haven't really paid attention to where my fingers sit in relation to the pad. But I think when my grip is "normal" / "average" my pinky and other finger tip right sides drags on the pad. With loose grip my thumb drags too.

No clue if it makes a difference other than than irritating my skin :p

Thanks for answers, I should have mentioned that I'm concerned mostl about wrist, or rather the part where palm is ending before wrist. When my wrist touches the mousepad it sure is easier to aim but more difficult to move mouse freely, and vice versa when it is not touching, aiming is harder but mobility is greater.

depends on the height you sit at too. a low table seems better for me as there's less contact with the mousepad from your arm/wrist.

I palm it with my wrist resting on the mouse mat. I use my wrist to turn the mouse and when thats run out of room I move my arm. Sometimes I make small swipes like stermy, depends what weapon I'm using. I don't rest my arm on the table. I have arm rests on my chair.
