looking at his description it seems that it toggles between the settings in the control panel and an extra low sensitivity mode, as opposed to toggling between two control panel sensitivites.

Won't cursor be 'jittery' if you use 11/11 and 400 dpi? Unless you don't mind if it skips pixels on your desktop.

yes that's another reason why I want to be able to toggle it, so that I can switch between precision and being able to move it around fast. when you're just surfing the web or managing files it really wont matter that it skips pixels. but if i'm using some program with lots of small buttons (sony vegas) or paint i need it to not skip pixels

Or you could use sens 8/11 or 10/11 ( 1:2 and 1:3 if I'm not mistaken ) and then divide your ingame sens.
Sure, you'll get rounding errors but I don't think moving like 0.4° less on the right than were you wanted to aim really is important if you don't play these games like a maniac.

Being another mouse nerd ( no offense ), I thought you would boycott the games that still use the shitty windows pointer movement stuff though.

Thanks alot, a shortcut on the desktop will be sufficent, since I will virtually only use 6/11 when I play games or use special applications.
Sorry for being so fucking stupid, but how do I use it? :P When I click on it all I get is a window with a bunch of text.

Create 2 instances of shortcuts of the MouseSpeed.exe (you know, right click, create shortcut)

Rename the shortcuts to "Middle sens" and "High sens" or something similar, whatever!

Go to the properties of "Middle sens", in the "Target" row, after MouseSpeed.exe write "/S:10 /U" without the '''' naturally

So you should have in the target row, for instance

"C:\MouseSpeed\MouseSpeed.exe" /S:10 /U

Then do the same for the "High sens" shortcut, except replace "10" with "20". Got it?



edit: just tested it and it appears the /U switch is not necessary in this case. Not exactly sure what it even does.

edit: I also noticed you can assign shortcuts to hotkeys in windows (right click->properties->shortcut->Shortcut key) in windows natively. So now I have it assigned to ctrl+alt+home for high sens and ctrl+alt+end for low sens.

To any other wmo or low dpi mouse users: doing this will make your life much easier.
