Instead of the users being the ones who make and run the server, the developer is doing so without providing the option of user-created servers. That's what I mean.

Well it's not really a problem if the party behind the game is actualy supporting the servers / their game.

Incase of a ID game it's much beter to have privatly hosted servers because ID is lacking any support on all fronts

to do what? They probably can't do anything even if they wanted to, which has about 10% probability. Most likely they changed partners to cut the costs. It is not on their hand to follow the optimal route, at least not outside their country. It depends on the contracts they have.

So you know their contracts? You know what node is acting up or where the routing goes ? No? Can you do something about it? No?

Traceroute results to the QL server IP and a comparison with the COD server IP will show which node is most likely fucked. That information should be sent to your ISP.
