ye another mouse related question but i have a hard time deciding which new one to get :p

does any of you have infos about the weight of the razer krait, the ms ie 3.0 and the mx518?

right now i'm leaning towards teh razer mouse, it has a similar shape to my mx310 and comes without all the extra buttons i never use anyway (until now). i'm just not sure abt the weight, is it much heavier than the other two mice?

can someone who has them compare? i mean a rough estimate would be enough for me.

i plan on not installing the drivers for any of the mice so the mx518 scares me a bit with these dpi change buttons. i wouldn't want to accidently get on em in a fight.

the ie 3.0 seems to have that scroll wheel issue, so that bugs me too.

any suggestions are very welcome, thanks a lot.

too fussy

pick a respected mouse, and just use it

it'll feel right in time and once you're used to it your aim and mouse control will be back to the level it once was

time is probably nothing more than a few solid playing sessions with minimal tweaking

srs.

Just re bend the microswitch, worked fine for me.. (all you need is a sharpie to unhinge the cover and a pin to re-bend and handle the small copper piece).

I tried another guide where you were suppose to put spray contact cleaner on it, seemed to work for quite a few people but didn't do the trick for me.

With spray in it, ah. Anyway it really ain't that hard (although sausage fingers and general clumsiness won't cut it).

Unsure how long it will hold but it still works like new, actually I'm surprised that it worked at all because after pushing it a couple o times, to me it looked like the springy thing just sprung back to original position (but then it IS micro :P).

you can google the actual weights if you care enough...sometimes the weight is with/without cord.

the razer salmosa is the lightest mouse i ever had. ms1.1 and krait should be rather light too.

no, the sensor is great and yes, it is like a newer krait (entry level 'gaming' mouse). squeeky buttons and in general the built quality are a bit of a letdown though but on the other hand it is quite cheap in comparison.

I have an MX310 and MX518 here and just put them in my hands to feel the difference. It's very small difference in weight, if anything the MX310 feels slightly heavier.

krait is much lighter than the ie3.0 and 518.

The 310 has a weight inside, thats why its as heavy as a 518.

The Krait is pretty nice all around, but the Salmosa is just so much better. The rubbery sides were the only thing I didn't like about the Krait.

yes i bought the salmosa and the shape is very nice, the closest to my old mx310.
i still have a hard time getting used to it, along with teh new lcd monitor :-s

ps. the salmosa feels a bit cheap, i dunno. the buttons click very loud too but the sensor is ace so far.

The buttons started squeaking on mine after a day or two, but I hear that it goes away. I mostly like it for the shape/weight.
