can't you just get get it of the internetz, and use your q3key file, as I suppose the steam "client" uses the same methods hence it's compatible?

I'd imagine you can just run it like normal, they haven't actually created a modified client have they? Not even steam would be that retarded, someone please tell me they aren't that retarded.

Failing that, copy pak0.pk3 from your installation to a folder with a path like this: q3\baseq3\pak0.pk3 (the first q3 part can be named anything) and download and run the 1.32 point release giving it the path you created.

Get this and you'll have just what's needed to play CPMA :)
